CONVERT TO PRORES ON WINDOWS PC
Prores is one of the most high quality codecs around the world. Widespread and a worlwide 'must have' format to deal with production, vfx, film companys, tv, spots agencies and media distributors.
Videos on prores are identified by being playable on macintosh and windows. By the way are one of the bests that pack great and superb image with a reasonable data size on disk.
Cinemartin Cinec supports and convert videos to all variants of prores; Prores 422 LT, 422 (know as the std), 422HQ and 4444. it also produces prores proxies.
Prores is more than a standard, is a lossy format mainly used in
post-production. Range from 36Mb to 220Mbit/s. Prores 4444 was introduced
later providing better color. It supports 4K and videos are playable on any
Computer by installing QuickTime.
ALMOST ANY BROADCAST, FILM OR CINEMA FORMAT
Cinemartin Cinec encode /transcode videos to Prores, Avid DNxHD, XDCam, H.264 and H.265. The most reputable video compression are inside Cinec.
Cinec includes more than 20 presets ready for.
Providing you with the latest codecs
HEVC H.265 Cinec supports and encode to last acclaimed 4K codec, the High Efficiency Video Compression codec, know as H.265 (in Cinec Pro and Gold series).
H.265 is the codec of the future, we have advanced to that time, and rolling a way back machine back to now, by giving to users an affordable and easy hevc video converter.
See the results yourself
With the H.265 encoder incorporated on Cinec we achieved the following result, by converting a Prores file of 550MB to a H265 5MB file with almost no noticeable difference at normal screens, look yourself.
Fastest, time saving, simple and easy of use
UP TO 6X CPU / CORES
You can set cinec to use one or more Core CPUs - threads of your computer to speed up the time necesary to encode videos. Or, if you want to create a video from a sequence of images
you can set how many paral·lel processes want to run at the same time.
All at your convenience, so if you have a dedicated workstation and need to get the job done for a customer as soon as possible, simply set the CPU Cores value to the maximum number. If you're in home watching youtube / vimeo or doing some other things, then set to 1 or 2 cores.
BATCH & MULTIOUPUT / BATCH CAPABILITY
Cinec is not limited to encode 1 file at a time. Cinec includes an advanced grid array, in which you can load several videos at a time, this provides the Batch
feature meaning that by pressing the "Encode" button one time, all videos will be processed.
Cinec makes the tedius work of processing several videos and/or to several outputs, a simple work
PROBABLY MORE EASY THAN ANY OTHER
There is a lot of litle features to make your work with Cinec comfortable, and really easy to do. Following are some:
- Add files by Drag and Drop, add all files in a directory
- Knob controls, big buttons, sliders and more
- A Common Preset Selector that adds or clear presets for all input videos
- Remember your last 'almost all' settings: Last paths, last presets, dimension and positions of app in screen, marks like Cineform sources, CPU Cores, etc ..
The Common preset selector (above) located at the middle-left bottom side of the app, adds the user selected preset to the list of current existing presets per rows, for all rows.
A CLIP TO SEVERAL OUTPUT FORMATS
If you look at the right of each clip loaded (each row in the grid), a selector provides a mecanism to specify one or more output preset to selected video, this is what we call the Multi-output
ALMOST ANY INPUT
Cinec support, is able to open (ingest) for export tasks, with 3.X, almost any input source from any place..
One of the bigger points of Cinec is the large quantity of input sources that it accepts. Cinec supports the following file input formats:
- Uncompressed 8, 10, 12, & 16 bits
- Cineform (Silicon Image, GOPRO)
- Sony XAVC (Sony PMW-F5, F55)
- Sony XAVC-S (Sony FDR-AX100, PXW-X180, ..)
- R3D (RED one, RED Scarlet & RED Epic models)
- AVC Intra (Panasonic Broadcast)
- AVCHD Pro (Sony NEX series, FS100, FS700, Panasonic 3/4
- AVCHD Consumers (Handycams from Sony, Panasonic, JVC)
- H.264 MOV (Canon EOS series)
- H.264 MP4 (GOPRO cameras)
- MPEG-2 Long GOP MXF (Canon C100, C300, C500)
- MPEG-4 AVC MP4 (Samsung Galaxy 4K video)
- And more ..
Cinec 3.X adds input support for new codecs including gopro defaults recording format, Cineform, Silicon Image Cineform,
Sony XAVC and XAVC-S, and RED files (*.r3d files from RED Cameras).
This allow RED users to avoid invest in expensive hardware required in order to
manage RED RAW files (5000$ red rocket card, expensive MACintosh computers, etc
..), Sony PMW-F5, F55, FDR-AX1 and other XAVC users to transform that H.264 hard to edit - intensive cpu codec
(as its the codec the XAVC is based on) to a most user friendly - saving time and standard codec such as Prores or DNxHD, same applies for GOPRO default format (H.264) and the consumers AVCHD (Sony, Panasonic, JVC) or prosumers AVCHD 28mbps like the Sony FS100, Sony FS700, etc ..
It is also a perfect companion for Sony FS700 + Convergent Design Odissey 7 and 7Q users
Cinec as a solution for fast editing, exporting for NLE inputs.
This is your solution for video editing, to work with High quality but light files, and standard ones. Great for grades, key chromas, superb effects and more ..
It supports encoding from other compressed files, so you can convert DNxHD to Prores, DPX to DNxHD,.. almost any combination is possible.
It is recommended by professionals that it is best to work on video editors with video in prores or dnxhd formats than in avchd or h264 codecs.
Time taken to encode to prores with Cinec 3.X is on minimums, check out this chart: time to encode to prores with Cinemartin Cinec
* HEVC H.265 is on its early stages, not all videos encoded well to h265.
